Pompey poised to bring in Halford
Championship outfit Portsmouth are poised to sign Wolves defender Greg Halford on loan this week.[LNB] Portsmouth have agreed a loan deal with Wolves for Halford, but the deal was held up as the club wait for the green light from their adminstrators.[LNB]Pompey boss Steve Cotterill was hoping to have Halford in for the weekend win over Watford, but is hopeful it will get done this week.[LNB]"Something should have happened with Greg Halford on Friday, but to my annoyance it didn't," Cotterill told The News.[LNB]"I'm not saying anything else on it.[LNB]"He was in and he trained with us on Friday.[LNB]"I can hope that something may happen this week.[LNB]"It was all ready to go on Friday and hopefully it still will go. I hope."[LNB]
