Murray targets training comeback

Murray has been out of action since rupturing his patella tendon last November and underwent a clean-up operation in the summer. The 28-year-old has now started running again for the first time since the injury and is upbeat in his comeback assessment. Murray told BBC Radio WM: "I was hoping to be ready for pre-season and joining in with the boys. "But I couldn't quite push on to the next level at the end of last season and went to see the specialist who said I needed a little bit more surgery. The knee feels good, and is looking good on the scans, and the tendon looks nice and strong. "I see a specialist on August 18 and if all goes well could be out training with the boys in four to six weeks and realistically, if I could be back in full training within six to eight weeks that would be really good."
