Mowbray monitoring Ikeme

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray is pondering a loan move for Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, who is currently training at the club.

The 25-year-old is set to feature in Friday night's pre-season friendly with PSV Eindhoven.

"We will play him and then make a decision over the weekend," Mowbray told the Northern Echo.

"I have seen Carl play. He was at Wolves when I was at West Brom as manager so I know about him.

"Mick McCarthy still thinks he is a top goalkeeper even though he has had a few injuries and this is our chance to see."
