Milijas confident of World Cup spot

The Serbian was instrumental for Mick McCarthy's men in the 2-1 win over Bolton last week.[LNB]However, the former Red Star Belgrade playmaker has made just two Premier League starts for Wanderers and has only twice completed a full 90 minutes for the Midlands outfit.[LNB]But the 26-year-old, named Serbian Superliga Player of the Year before his switch to the Molineux, is not concerned by his lack of first team football.[LNB]"I don't have that problem," he told the Birmingham Mail.[LNB]"I just need to train well and be fit and healthy, that's the most important thing for me.[LNB]"I just want to give 100 per cent in every training session and match I play.[LNB]"I've played well for my national team and I think I'll stay in the first eleven.[LNB]"I haven't spoken to Raddy Antic (Serbia coach) about it. He has many good players, but I just want to be in that national team."[LNB]Milijas played a major part in his country's impressive World Cup qualifying campaign which saw Serbia finish top having won seven of their ten matches and topping group favourites France.[LNB]After sealing their place in South Africa, following a 5-0 win over Romania, Serbia have been drawn in group D for the 2010 competition alongside Germany, Australia and Ghana.[LNB]"We have a few months before the World Cup and we'll be training for a month before the competition, so we'll see," he added.[LNB]"The most important thing is the first game of the World Cup, then we have to qualify from the group before we can think about the next round."[LNB][LNB]
