Wolves gaffer was proud of his team's spirit in the 1-0 home win against Totteng=ham Hotspur in The Premiership Speaking on the official site the gaffer said We got 1-0 ahead again and it was great that we didn't allow what happened on Sunday to affect that,, After the weekend we needed the performance and the victory and we got it. I have never once doubted the attitude of the players - never have. We have a bad performance at Crystal Palace which is no reflection of us over a season and I keep getting asked about the character and bouncing back and getting off the canvas but it's never been in doubt. "We've got endeavour and team spirit and togetherness and if we do lack other things that's never in doubt. We deserved the victory and so much of it was down to teamwork that the lads showed. I think we had a bit of good fortune on a couple of occasions when they didn't catch things right after they broke on us but all in all I thought it was a very good team performance and we earned the result. They've got a good team with a host of terrific individuals and we've got a terrific bunch of lads who put a real shift in and work hard for each other."
