Last season's Championship winners sit in the top-flight relegation zone after a drop in form and critics have started to focus on McCarthy.[LNB]The Molineux boss has seen his work in the summer transfer market questioned, with only record signing Kevin Doyle featuring in the first XI on a regular basis.[LNB]McCarthy has had to offer the likes of Nenad Milijas time to acclimatise to the Premier League, but he is determined to make things work and will not be moaning.[LNB]"I was happy with the players we got and still am," he said in the Express and Star.[LNB]"I was really delighted with what we brought in and it's for us not to rue what we might, or could, or should have done, but make it work with what we've got.[LNB]"That's the important thing. And I'm not going to be bemoaning what I could or couldn't do.[LNB]"It's up to us, the players and the staff, to make it happen. Experience is great, but everyone was telling us last year, even though we were in a different league, how important experience is. And we did it and we won it.[LNB]"There's plenty of experience here, it's just Premier League experience we haven't got lots of."[LNB]He added: "You can see the value of that experience. It certainly makes a difference when it's going to be tough."[LNB][LNB] Barclays Premiership Relegation 2009/2010. Click here to bet.
