McCarthy ready for tough run

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy admits the pressure is on to pick up points from a daunting run of fixtures starting with Saturday's visit to champions and leaders Chelsea. The midlands club, who are in the bottom three of the Barclays Premier League, have to face the Blues, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal in their next four games. Wolves ended a run of four successive defeats by drawing at home to West Ham last weekend. But McCarthy knows the importance of his side gaining some tangible reward from the next four outings. He said: "There isn't as much pressure on this game as there was in the West Ham one. "Chelsea are the best team in the league and they've carved most teams up. They can be pretty awesome when they get going so we've got to go there and be ready for it. "But there is pressure on the next four games to get something. Who is to say though that it's set in stone that the top four sides will win all their matches?"
