McCarthy planning Wolves clearout
Top of the list is Jason Shackell, a player who McCarthy paid £1million for less than a year ago. However the 25-year-old quickly found himself surplus to requirements and is currently on loan at Norwich.
Other casualties include transfer-listed duo Darren Potter and Darren Ward, who could move to the clubs they are currently on loan to - Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton respectively.
It is thought that Wolves would want a transfer fee for all three players.
"Darren Ward, Darren Potter and Jason Shackell are on the list. There will be some others but they're not for public consumption at the moment," said McCarthy.
"There'll be additions to the squad, but a lot of the ones that have had loads of games this season will still be here. None of them will be going."
