McCarthy keeps Wolves grounded

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy felt his side's 1-0 win over Tottenham was a reward for keeping their spirits up. McCarthy said he had not let the squad become disheartened by a run of six league matches without a win before the Spurs victory. "I'm here to ensure they don't lose their self-belief," he added. "If they come in on a Monday morning and are feeling down about the game we tell them 'Feel down about the result but not about the way you have played'. "I know results are paramount but if you are playing well you can take a lot of positives."
