Wolves manager Mick McCarthy admitted the pressure was mounting after his side slipped to yet another defeat on Saturday afternoon.
Wolves went down 2-1 at Blackpool, their ninth loss in 11 games, to remain entrenched in the bottom three of the Barclays Premier League.
"All us managers know, whichever league you are in, in football games you need results," said McCarthy.
"It doesn't matter if you play good, bad or indifferent if you get results.
"If you are not getting results the pressure mounts but I don't sit and worry about that. I worry about not getting points."
Blackpool opened the scoring with a stunning Luke Varney goal in the third minute and doubled the lead when Marlon Harewood profited from a Marcus Hahnemann blunder on the stroke of half-time.
Despite Wolves' spirited second-half showing, McCarthy felt his side lacked the quality to make enough of their chances.
He said: "I think when we hit the post I didn't think it was going to be our day, but it didn't look like that from minute two.
"When we got one I thought maybe, but we weren't good enough in either box unfortunately. You can never accuse a team of mine of not trying, that is for sure, but we lacked a bit of quality when we had the opportunities.
"When (Ian) Evatt clears one off the line - great defending by him, but I'd like to see one of my players sliding into the net."
