Marcus Hahnemann wants to stay at Wolves for another two seasons and join the band of goalkeepers who have played in the Premier League at 40.[LNB] Hahnemann's current contract runs out in the summer, but he believes he has enjoyed one of the best 12-month periods of his career after replacing Wayne Hennessey as first choice at Molineux.[LNB]The 38-year-old has often stated he wants to end his career back in his native United States in the MLS and will consider that option if no new deal is forthcoming at Wolves.[LNB]But Hahnemann is keen to stay with the Midlands club for the foreseeable future as they prepare for Saturday's home meeting with Bolton.[LNB]Hahnemann said: "I want to stay at Wolves. Myself and my family really like it here, the set-up is great, the guys are great, the staff are great.[LNB]"Everything has been top notch since I've been here. There is no reason why I want to leave or anything.[LNB]"I'm just kind of waiting to see what happens. I can't stay if they don't want me to stay so we will just wait and see if they are going to offer me something.[LNB]"There are a couple of MLS teams and it might be an opportunity for me to go back.[LNB]"But if I have the choice I would like to carry on at Wolves for two more years if I was given the opportunity."[LNB]Hahnemann added: "I think I've been playing as well as I ever have been and I'm as fit as I've ever been.[LNB]"I feel fit and good enough to carry on at this level for another couple of years.[LNB]"It's been one of the best 12 months of my career. I've had good spells before but everything has been pretty remarkable since coming in here and getting the chance to play and play again."[LNB]Hahnemann's immediate priority is to help ensure Wolves continue the fine form they have shown against the Premier League top four starting with the visit of Owen Coyle's team.[LNB]It is a start of a sequence of games against teams Wolves would expect to be battling with them for top-flight survival.[LNB]Hahnemann said: "We lost three of the games against the top four but we played well and also won one of them against Manchester City.[LNB]"If we had drawn with three of them, everyone would have said 'top teams, three draws, you guys are doing well.'[LNB]"We got the same points as that with the one win and we were in every one of those games. We played super well. You do think one result from those games is a success."[LNB]Hahnemann is aware it is how Wolves perform against their fellow strugglers which will determine if they are to survive in the Premier League.[LNB]He said: "Those games with the top sides will really have no bearing on where we finish in the league. They are almost like bonus points.[LNB]"It's how we do against the teams that are going to be around us like Bolton on Saturday. So now the pressure is going to start.[LNB]"Now these are the games where we have to pick up points and, from the way we have played the last few games, people are going to be expecting us to do that again.[LNB]"We have played well all season. We've just been a bit unlucky and there were stupid errors sometimes and it's really been costing us but that's the nature of the Premier League.[LNB]"It is going to be a tough run of games. It doesn't get any easier just because you are playing teams that aren't in the top four.[LNB]"It is going to be quite interesting to see if we can continue right where we left off these last four games when playing so well, and take that on to another home game."
