Wolves were the first club to have a bid in the region of £2million accepted by Hamilton and now Wigan have matched their offer. Celtic, Burnley and Portsmouth are thought to be monitoring the situation and could make new moves for the 18-year-old after having bids turned down for the midfielder earlier this summer. A couple of top-eight Premier League clubs are also thought to be weighing up offers for the Republic of Ireland international. McKay confirmed the player is to hold talks with Wolves and Wigan and that other clubs are keeping tabs on his situation. "James is currently undergoing a medical at Wolves and he has been very impressed by what Wolves have to offer," McKay told skysports.com. "Wigan have also had a bid accepted by Hamilton and we are due to hold talks with them at some point. "I know there are other clubs chasing James and we will wait and see if they make offers acceptable to Hamilton."
