Kightly: McCarthy won't be rushed
The Molineux manager is preparing for life back in the Premier League next season and although he is yet to make any signings, Kightly is confident McCarthy will get it right.
"People just need to look at other teams to see how many signings they've made - none," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"Every year and every transfer window it's the same - it's quiet, and then all of a sudden, it goes manic.
"I'm sure the club will get the players they want and there won't be any problems. It just takes time.
"There's no need to panic-buy and we're in a position where we're a Premier League club now. We don't need to panic to get players in quickly - we can take our time. Competition always helps and it's always healthy."
