Kightly keen to get back on pitch

The Wolves winger was a reported £5million target of Saturday's opponents Everton during the winter transfer window last term before the 23-year-old's campaign was cut short by a broken metatarsal. But now the Wanderers man is poised for his first start in the top flight after a month of substitute appearances - and the former Grays performer intends to show Toffees boss David Moyes what he is missing on Saturday. "I am as good as I can be and hopefully I'll start," Kightly said in the Daily Star. "It's going to take me at least five or six matches to get back to full tilt but I'm ready." It seems Wolves boss Mick McCarthy will hand the tricky midfielder his chance this weekend. He added: "Kightly has something different, a bit special if you like, which can open up defences. "He is a very good footballer who can spot a pass and is full of confidence in his own ability. "If he gives his all and has to come off after 45, 60 or 70 minutes, then fine." Everton v Wolves To Score in 90mins: Kightly, M. 11/2
