Wolves winger Michael Kightly has revealed he hopes to secure a loan move away from Molineux after being left out of the club's 25-man squad.[LNB] The midfielder was left out by Mick McCarthy as he continues his recovery from a serious knee injury that has sidelined him for nine months.[LNB]Reading and Leeds are thought to be monitoring Kightly's situation as they consider a loan move for the former England Under 21 international.[LNB]The 24-year-old admits he was not surprised to be omitted from the 25-man squad and he is targeting a loan move so that he can get regular action under his belt to help him win his place back in the Wolves side.[LNB]"Obviously any setback is disappointing but it's something I've learned to cope with over the last year or so," Kightly told the club's official website.[LNB]"This is a serious injury and one which is complex to deal with.[LNB]"But I'm staying positive and carrying on with the rehab without any pressure on when I need to be fit again.[LNB]"Once it was realised I wasn't going to be ready it was always going to be the right decision not to be included in the 25[LNB]"The gaffer needed players who he knew would be available to him if not now then certainly over the next few weeks[LNB]"I am ready to give it as long as it takes but obviously when I do get fit again it would be good to get out on loan if any clubs were interested[LNB]"If that was to happen then by the time January comes around I could be ready to try and challenge for a place in the squad here."
