Jones keen to stay at Molineux

Midfielder David Jones insists he wants to stay with Wolves despite his long-term future still being unresolved.[LNB] The former Manchester United player is in the final year of his current contract.[LNB]Talks have been on hold for a couple of months but Jones is adamant he wants to remain at Molineux and has a good working relationship with manager Mick McCarthy.[LNB]Jones said: "There is not an issue between me and the manager. He doesn't deal with the contract side of things.[LNB]"He wants me to sign. Obviously I want to get it sorted. I want to stay with the club. I have been happy during my time here.[LNB]"We said we were leaving things as they were and would be coming back to the table in a couple of months.[LNB]"That is definitely still the case.[LNB]"It has proved to be an excellent move for me. The manager has said publicly that he wants me to stay so hopefully it will get sorted out."[LNB]Jones added: "On a daily basis I am just concentrating on my football. Football is the main thing for me.[LNB]"It would be different if you were an ordinary man in the street with your future up in the air.[LNB]"But, as a footballer, you cannot let it affect you."
