The Premier League have asked McCarthy - whose side slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford - to explain his reasons for making 10 changes to a team that had won at Tottenham 72 hours earlier.[LNB]But Jones, who came on in the closing stages of the match for his first appearance since September, insists Wolves have a squad of players capable of turning out for the first team.[LNB]"Everyone could see that all the players put in absolute 100% effort at Tottenham on Saturday," Jones told the club's official website. "That sort of effort takes it out of you whichever league you are playing in, let alone one of the top teams in the Premier League.[LNB]"We've got around 22 or 23 senior players here now who are regarded as first-team players.[LNB]"They are players who should be expected to come in and do a job and also take the opportunity to show the manager what they can do."[LNB][LNB]
