Jarvis impresses Mick

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy hailed the performance of Matt Jarvis in Wolves` 3-2 Carling Cup defeat at Manchester United. Javier Hernandez struck late on to win if for United after George Elokobi and Kevin Foley had cancelled out Bebe and Park Ji-sung goals. McCarthy was pleased with his side`s showing and earmarked Jarvis for special praise. "He was terrific, he's a very important player for us," said McCarthy. "I sat next to Fabio Capello's assistant Franco Baldini at Stoke on Sunday and he spoke highly of him. "We responded very well to their goals and came back twice and if we keep playing like that then I believe it will turn for us."
