And the 31-year-old believes Levein is the strong type of character who will conquer any inflated egos there may be in the Scotland squad.[LNB]Iwelumo created the headlines for the wrong reasons with his miss from two yards on his international debut as a substitute against Norway in a World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park.[LNB]He made his first start for his country against Argentina in November 2008 but that was his last appearance to date.[LNB]Iwelumo suffered knee ligament damage against Birmingham in April, a broken metatarsal against Perth Glory during the pre-season trip to Australia and then aggravated the problem against Stoke in late October.[LNB]But he is now back to fitness and knows he has to perform at club level to get back into Scotland contention.[LNB]Iwelumo said: "I think the temperament Craig Levein has got is fantastic for the squad.[LNB]"I think you always hear about the international scene and the problem with big egos with the international players.[LNB]"Craig is as down to earth as they come. He is definitely a character.[LNB]"He won't shrink away from any egos. If anything, he will dominate and get his point across no matter what has to be done.[LNB]"Hopefully I'll get the chance to work with him and show him what I am about on the international scene.[LNB]"But I know that will only happen if I do well for my club. I am just glad to be fit again."[LNB]Iwelumo also welcomes Levein's decision to give another chance to players who had previously been in international exile and he has been particularly impressed with Birmingham midfielder Barry Ferguson.[LNB]He said: "It is good for players to get another chance. That is fantastic. Barry Ferguson is a great player. It is a clean slate.[LNB]"Every manager has got to make their own decisions. Ferguson has been playing out of his skin for Birmingham."[LNB]Meanwhile, Wolves boss Mick McCarthy believes his current squad is good enough to gaurantee top flight survival.[LNB]He said: "I think the squad I've got will still finish above three other teams. That is the main thing.[LNB]"We are improving, one or two players have found their feet and are starting to look more comfortable. We are okay."[LNB][LNB] West Ham v Wolves. Click here to bet.
