Iwelumo talks up Wolves chances

The striker, who is expected to overcome a knee injury in plenty of time for the new campaign, points to recent encounters against top-flight opposition and knows that with a lot of hard work and a few new faces, the club can mix it with England's elite. "It's going to be a cup final every week but we're going to be fitter, stronger and better in every way," Iwelumo told the club's official website. "I know pre-season doesn't always show your real form but Blackburn came here last summer and we beat them 4-2. Middlesbrough came here in the FA Cup and we could have beaten them. We've just got to step it up and every single one of us is willing to do that. "We've gone up as champions so straight away there's momentum there, but we're going into the best league in the world so we need everything going for us. "There will be a few experienced heads brought in of Premier League quality. The gaffer has said there's no-one here that's a Premier League player yet - we've all got to prove it and show what we're about. But I don't think there's any shortage of takers for that."
