Iwelumo scored 14 goals last season to help fire Wolves into the top-flight, but a medial ligament problem was followed by a break of a metatarsal, initially in the summer and again in October.[LNB]The 31-year-old has been restricted to just two starts for Wolves in the Premier League, so he did not have to think twice when asked at the end of last week if he wanted to join Bristol City on loan.[LNB]"It's been a frustrating nine months for me, and it's a relief just to be playing again," said Iwelumo, speaking to the Bristol Evening Post.[LNB]"The road back to fitness has been a long one and I've really had to get my head down and try hard not to let it get to me.[LNB]"It's hard when your team-mates are playing in the Premier League every week and you are having to watch from the stands. Having been out for so long, I think I need to prove a point to myself more than anyone else."[LNB][LNB]
