Iron land Keogh cash windfall

20 April 2009 14:33
The fee relates to the deal which took former Iron striker Andy Keogh to Molineux in January 2007, with the Glanford Park club insisting on a number of add-ons as well as the £600,000 Wolves paid for the 22-year-old. One of the clauses stipulated that Wolves would pay a further £150,000 if they were promoted, although 20% of the fee will have to be passed on to Leeds, another of Keogh's former clubs. Scunthorpe could also pocket another £100,000 should the Republic of Ireland star score five goals in Wolves' two remaining fixtures.
