Hunt eyes weekend return for Wolves

Stephen Hunt hopes to make his Wolves debut when Mick McCarthy's side host West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday.[LNB] The Republic of Ireland midfielder played in Wolves' colours for the first time on Tuesday night when the reserves went down to a 2-1 defeat against Wigan at Molineux.[LNB]It was Hunt's first game since completing his £4million summer move from Hull City.[LNB]The winger has been sidelined since February with a foot injury.[LNB]The 29-year-old played 45 minutes and is now hoping to make an appearance at the weekend.[LNB]Hunt told Sky Sports News: "I feel okay, better than I thought I would be.[LNB]"I felt a little niggle, but I felt better so you never know, hopefully I might be involved Saturday if the manager picks me.[LNB]"Generally, I feel okay. You need the adrenaline rush in the first team to get yourself going."[LNB]McCarthy's side are in need of a boost following four straight defeats leaving the club in the bottom three.[LNB]The Wolves faithful are hoping for a spark from somewhere and Hunt could be the man to provide it.[LNB]"We have good enough players to make things happen and come Saturday I'll add something to the team," he added.
