Henry hails Bent capture

Wolves captain Karl Henry believes new signing Marcus Bent will prove to be the perfect replacement for Chris Iwelumo. The striker left Molineux earlier this summer in search of regular first-team football at Burnley, with Wolves boss Mick McCarthy bringing in Bent on loan from Birmingham on transfer deadline day. The 32-year-old, who will be playing for his 14th professional club, faces competition from in-form Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Kevin Doyle and Steven Fletcher for the striking spots. But Henry feels he offers something different, telling the club's official website: "Marcus is good player who's been there and done it in this division. He's played at this level for different clubs and scored goals. "The gaffer was looking for a different sort of player and more of a target man that we haven't got and Marcus has got a lot of experience. "We lost big Chris (Iwelumo) in the summer and the gaffer has been looking for someone similar and I think Marcus will add a lot to the squad."
