Hennessey pens new Wolves deal

Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has signed a new five-year contract at Molineux.[LNB] The Wales international, who still had two years left on his previous deal, is now contracted to Wolves until the summer of 2015.[LNB]The 23-year-old opened last season as first-choice but lost his place to veteran American Marcus Hahnemann.[LNB]His decision to commit his future to Wolves has delighted boss Mick McCarthy, who told the club's official website: "We are blessed to have three very good goalkeepers at the club who are currently fit and battling for the position and Wayne is somebody who I believe is a top class young keeper who will also get better.[LNB]"This is really good news for the club to have secured one of its best young players and one who will be keen to play a big part in the future. "[LNB]
