Hahnemann ponders Stateside return
Wolves keeper Marcus Hahnemann has intimated he could end his career in his native United States.
Hahnemann's current contract at Wolves expires in the summer.
It remains to be seen whether the 38-year-old, who has replaced Wales international Wayne Hennessey as first choice for the past 12 months, will be offered a new deal. But the former Reading player has hinted he would like a crack at playing in the MLS at some stage in the future.
Hahnemann said: "I'll see what the team and what the family want to do. There are two new MLS teams - one in Portland and one in Vancouver - and I don't know if it is time to return. Seattle has a team now, Seattle is my home town and my first pro team was the Seattle Sounders.
"There might be a combination of things that could happen. Initially when I came to England, the thought was that I'd go back eventually and play in the MLS so who knows?"
Hahnemann, part of the USA's 2006 and 2010 World Cup squads, has no thoughts of hanging up his boots at present wherever his future may lie. He said: "As long as you feel good, you play on. I don't feel old at all."
