Mick McCarthy's side have shown improvement recently, winning three of their league games in December to climb to 15th in the table.[LNB]McCarthy earned criticism for his decision to play a second-string side in a 3-0 defeat against Manchester United during that run, but Hahnemann claims that was an example of Wolves' collective focus.[LNB]"Team spirit is vital, it's the only thing that really matters," he told the club's official website. "The team spirit is so important, when you can go out and play as a team and not really care who gets the headlines.[LNB]"When the gaffer decided to switch the team for Manchester United, everybody agreed, 'this is what we're doing' and nobody threw their toys out of the pram that they wanted to play at Manchester United.[LNB]"That was a big step for us but you know this is what we are going to do and that was it, everybody backed it and that was it, that's the sort of team spirit that's so important."[LNB][LNB]
