Hahnemann hails crucial Craddock

Craddock will be 35 in July but the central defender has become a regular this season and weighed in with five goals - including one in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Aston Villa.[LNB]Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has rewarded Craddock by offering him a new deal along with Hahnemann and midfielder Dave Jones.[LNB]And Hahnemann believes Craddock - the only survivor from when Wolves were last in the top flight six years ago - still has a crucial role to play at Molineux.[LNB]The former Reading keeper said: "Jody has been super important for us.[LNB]"When I came into the club, he didn't have a contract sorted and it was almost hard to believe, given how steady he is, that was even in question.[LNB]"He has proved he is up for the Premier League and he deserves it.[LNB]"He can still have a big part to play next season. I don't see why not. Jody is super fit, he is in the gym all of the time. He is a little bit thinner than I am!"[LNB]Hahnemann is optimistic that Wolves, who take on West Ham at Upton Park tonight, can cling onto their top flight status for another season.[LNB]They are currently four points clear of the bottom three after winning at Burnley and sharing the spoils at Villa Park.[LNB]He said: "We are playing well and that's all you have to do.[LNB]"It would be nice to have more points on the board but we are performing at the right times to get ourselves out of trouble."[LNB][LNB] West Ham v Wolves.
