Mick McCarthy's side currently lie in 17th spot in the Premier League but now have to visit fellow strugglers Burnley on Saturday, local rivals Aston Villa and West Ham in successive matches away from Molineux.

Foley believes Wolves can approach the games with optimism if they repeat the way they have performed during the past few matches.

He said: "Whether we've been home or away in the last couple of months it hasn't really affected us.

"We've still gone about our business and were unlucky at Bolton in our last away game and played well against Manchester United.

"We've given a good account of ourselves, both away and against some big teams at home, and hopefully we will carry that on this weekend."

Foley added: "We won't be taking Burnley lightly by any means. They are scrapping just like us to stay in this division.

"It's going to be a tough game and probably even a bigger one than Manchester United

"But we'll go there full of commitment and desire and looking to take three points from the game."

Wolves turned in one of their poorest performances of last season when losing at Turf Moor in a Championship game 12 months ago.

Foley said: "It's not about putting anything right although we played badly at Burnley last season.

"It's just about the here and now, going up there being solid and taking our chances when we get them."
