Kevin Foley insists Wolves will not be overawed by Newcastle after their six-goal hammering of Aston Villa.[LNB] The right-back is optimistic the Wolves defence is up to the task of stopping the threat of Andy Carroll after his hat-trick stunned managerless Villa at St James' Park and he believes Mick McCarthy's side can take heart from their own unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign.[LNB]Foley told Wolves' official website: "Of course you notice a result like the 6-0.[LNB]"I remember last season Tottenham beat Wigan 9-1 at home and we went there for their next home match and ended up winning 1-0.[LNB]"I don't think it will be in our heads that Newcastle have won 6-0, it's just another game.[LNB]"Nobody is under any illusions that Newcastle is going to be anything but a very tough game.[LNB]"They have got players who have been there and done it in this league.[LNB]"They will be on a high after their last league result against Villa. They took them on at St James' Park and stuck six goals past them.[LNB]"But we were never going to be taking them lightly even after they lost to Manchester United.[LNB]"Every game is different, and every game in this division is tough.[LNB]"But in the league we're very happy with our start so far.[LNB]"Getting good results in the first two games has been important and it's been very solid and given us something to build on."[LNB]Carroll showed his potential in causing all kinds of problems to the Villa back four.[LNB]Foley said: "They have got a striker in top form in Andy Carroll who is a very good player.[LNB]"Anyone who gets a hat-trick in the Premier League has got something about them.[LNB]"He's a strong player who scores goals but hopefully we've got the defenders to be able to handle him."[LNB]Foley played the majority of last season on the right side of midfield but is happy to be operating at right-back in competition with the fit-again Ronald Zubar.[LNB]He said: "We need competition and can't just have one player in each position through the team.[LNB]"Right-back is exactly the same. It's only healthy for the team and as long as the team are doing well, and I'm playing well, then I'm happy.[LNB]"At the end of the day it's a team game but if you're playing well you've got a better chance of staying in the team.[LNB]"That competition keeps you on your toes."[LNB]
