David Edwards has called for Wolves to end the season strongly and build on their strong defensive displays in the Premier League.[LNB] With three games remaining, Wolves are three points clear of West Ham and a further three points ahead of Hull, who occupy the final place in the relegation zone.[LNB]Wolves have been involved in three goalless draws in their last four games and midfielder Edwards believes further resilient performances should help in the fixtures with Blackburn, Portsmouth and Sunderland.[LNB]"If we're solid and always in the game then that's a big plus in the Premier League," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"The quality is so good that there's always the possibility of being 3-0 down at half-time and out of the game.[LNB]"So the longer you can stay in the game the more we know we've got a chance to go on and win it. We know we can create chances and if we've got that solid base, if we do get a goal it's usually enough to win the game."
