Ireland played for the first time since their infamous World Cup play-off defeat to France in the 2-0 defeat to Brazil at Emirates Stadium.[LNB]Wolves forward Doyle was happy to be back playing for his country even though he concedes missing out on the finals in South Africa still troubles him at times.[LNB]"We got it [the France defeat] out of our system and it was needed," Doyle told skysports.com.[LNB]"We have plenty to look forward to, the new stadium opening up, we find out who and where we play in the qualifiers in the next week, so it will be exciting to get the past out of the system and look to the future.[LNB]"I'd have loved to have experienced playing in the World Cup, only a few lads in the squad have, so I just hope I will be fit and around in four years' time."[LNB][LNB]
