Doyle hopeful of hitting target soon

Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has backed himself to end the goal drought which has left him without a Barclays Premier League strike this season. Doyle, Wolves leading scorer last season, has failed to hit the target in 12 league games this term. But the Republic Of Ireland international is convinced his luck in front of goal will change sooner rather than later. He said: "I've had spells like this before. There's no point being depressed about it. You have to wake up and try to go again. I'll keep working hard, keep doing the right things and my luck will change. "It's different when you're playing in the Championship and you're top of the league. You always get chances to score. "But when you're playing in a team always going to be fighting in the bottom three, it could be difficult and you're not going to score. Every week you have to keep going and keep working hard. It's better playing well than playing bad and not scoring."
