Daley: Villa clash 'no ordinary game'

Daley spent nine years as a player at Villa Park, coming through the ranks before making almost 300 senior appearances and helping the club to their 1994 League Cup triumph. Daley though is now rooted at Molineux and in his third year as Wolves' fitness and conditioning coach. "Absolutely this is no ordinary game for me," Daley told Wolves' website ahead of Saturday lunchtime's Molineux showdown. "Having played at the club for nearly 10 years, it is the club I still support. "I loved it at Villa, playing for the club I supported as a kid and think I had a good rapport with the fans. "We had relative success there as well - I managed to get a couple of runners-up medals and we won the League Cup and I picked up some international caps when I was playing as well. "I have faced Villa three times before when I was at Sheffield United but Saturday's game and the one at Villa Park were obviously the games I was looking out for this season."
