Veteran Wolves defender Jody Craddock is poised to return to training next week after being sidelined with a hip injury.[LNB] The 35-year-old has missed Wolves' past five games since suffering the setback during the 1-1 home draw with West Ham last month.[LNB]But Craddock revealed he has been troubled by the problem for the past 12 months.[LNB]He said: "I'm very close now to coming back and I'm in the last stage of rehab.[LNB]"I'm running, I'm out kicking the ball and have been completely pain free.[LNB]"Fingers crossed, I'm looking to be back in training within the next week."[LNB]Craddock admitted: "I have had a hip problem for about a year. I had a steroid injection to get rid of the pain and it worked for a short amount of time.[LNB]"But then it came back, gradually built up again, and as I went for a header, I basically took all the pressure on my left leg when I landed and something 'popped' and gave way.[LNB]"That has now been solved. It has been disappointing because I hadn't missed many games before this and I've been lucky in not having long term injuries.[LNB]"I can't wait to get back playing again."[LNB]Craddock was a key figure in helping Wolves gain promotion back to the Premier League and then cementing their position last season in the top flight.
