Craddock set to resume training

Veteran Wolves defender Jody Craddock is poised to return to training next week after being sidelined with a hip injury. The 35-year-old has missed the past five games since suffering the setback during the 1-1 home draw with West Ham last month. But Craddock revealed he has been troubled by the problem for the past 12 months. He said: "I'm very close now to coming back and I'm in the last stage of rehab. I'm running, I'm out kicking the ball and have been completely pain free. Fingers crossed, I'm looking to be back in training within the next week." Craddock admitted: "I have had a hip problem for about a year. I had a steroid injection to get rid of the pain and it worked for a short amount of time. But then it came back, gradually built up again, and as I went for a header, I basically took all the pressure on my left leg when I landed and something `popped' and gave way. "That has now been solved. It has been disappointing because I hadn't missed many games before this and I've been lucky in not having long term injuries. I can't wait to get back playing again."
