Dzeko happy at Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko has insisted that he is happy at the club, despite trying to force a transfer to AC Milan.

The Bosnia international was recently quoted as describing a move to the Rossoneri as a 'dream', as well as claiming he was unhappy at the prospect of staying with the German champions.

However, despite reports of a bust-up with manager Armin Veh regarding his future, Dzeko claims he is happy to stay in the Bundesliga.

"I'm fine at Wolfsburg and I'm happy to be able to play in the Champions League," he told the club's official website.

"In the coming years I will play for Wolfsburg at 100 per cent."

The club has confirmed that a meeting between the player and management helped persuade the forward to stay at Wolfsburg.

"From Saturday, Dzeko will be at the training camp at Sylt," said a club statement.

"After a clarifying meeting with the directors, now he is sure: he will stay at Wolfsburg."
