Parsons set to stay with Cards

Woking boss Glenn Cockerill has agreed terms with youngster Phil Parsons who is expected to sign a new deal with the Nationwide Conference side shortly.

Parsons spent a productive spell on loan with Fleet last season but has yet to break into the Cards first team.

Meanwhile, Neil Smith and Warren Patmore are reported to be recovering well after undergoing operations at the end of last season.

Cockerill is hoping to build on last season's finale when the club avoided relegation on the last day of the campaign.
