Zaki poised for Latics loan

Egypt international Amr Zaki's proposed move to Wigan Athletic is back on again after the 25-year-old signed a new contract with his current club Zamalek.
Zaki now expects to move to the JJB Stadium on a season-long loan arrangement, less than two weeks after the proposed switch had appeared to have fallen through.
Reports claimed earlier in July that Zaki had decided to pull out of the deal after being threatened by Zamelek chief Mamdouh Abbas.
However, Abbas has now told the Egyptian press: "Wigan will pay a loan fee of £1,250,000 plus 400,000 euros with an option to sign the player at the end of the loan period for an agreed transfer fee less the amount already paid by Wigan to Zamalek.
"Wigan Athletic also agree to pay the amount of £500,000 to Zamalek if the player scores ten Premier League goals for Wigan during the loan spell."
Zaki had said when the deal appeared to have collapsed: "He (Abbas) told me I could not leave and he got angry and swore. Things got worse when his bodyguards were about to beat me up."
