Egypt striker Amr Zaki believes he made the right choice by signing for Wigan Athletic in the summer.
Zaki, 25, has found the net eight times in just 10 appearances after making a lightening start to life with the Latics.
His goalscoring exploits have led to speculation that he will be targeted by a host of high-profile clubs when his season-long loan stay at the JJB Stadium expires.
But the in-form striker believes he made the right call in signing for Steve Bruce's side before the start of the season.
"I don't want to tempt fate by looking too far ahead, but I know I made the right choice of club where I can build a reputation," he said.
"My aim is to score goals and help the team. I hope that helps to earn me a permanent deal because I want to stay in the Premier League.
"I never set limits on myself and every time I play it's like my first game again. My concern is to make the supporters and the manager happy.
"Playing in the Premier League was one of my dreams and it is very satisfying for me to have reached that dream.
"I will try to continue the way I have started. The Premier League is one of the best in the world.
"The best players are here. It is great to be among them and be playing for Steve Bruce and to gain his confidence."
