Sinclair out to impress

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Wigan new boy Scott Sinclair is determined to impress during his spell at the DW Stadium. Sinclair has joined Wigan from Chelsea on a season-long loan and is determined to prove he has a future at Stamford Bridge. During his short career he has made just 14 appearances for Chelsea, spending most of the time since his first-team debut in 2007 on loan in the Championship at Plymouth, QPR, Charlton, Crystal Palace and Birmingham. His move to Wigan is Sinclair's first opportunity to show what he can to in an extended run in the Premier League and he is keen to take it. Excited"I'm really excited to be here and am looking forward to playing some games and getting involved with the team," he said. "I want to get my head down, work hard and show the fans and the manager my qualities and what I can do. "With it being a loan deal I obviously want people back at Chelsea to see me do well, but I'm really happy that I get to do that at a great club like Wigan. "I had my first training session today and it went really well. It was great to meet all the lads who have helped me a lot in settling into the club. "The gaffer's just told me to enjoy my training, work hard and if I do well enough there will be a place for me in the team. "All I can do is give 100% in training to prove myself and work hard. "The manager has spoken to me about how he likes his team to play and all about keeping possession and what his plans are for the club. It's definitely a club moving forward."
