North End get cup date confirmed

Preston's trip to Wigan in the third round of the Carling Cup will be played on Wednesday, September 22. The Lilywhites will make the short journey to the DW Stadium as a reward for beating Stockport and Bradford in the two previous rounds. The clash with the Latics will kick-off at 7.45pm.
