N'Zogbia's Latics exit talk cools

The agent of Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia has reacted coolly to talk of his client making a new year move away from the DW Stadium.

Both Birmingham City and Sunderland have been credited with an interest in N'Zogbia, but Franck Peslerbe believes that a transfer is unlikely.

He told Sky Sports: "I am not surprised if other clubs are interested in Charles as he enjoyed many good performances for Wigan.

"However, Charles is 100 per cent focused on Wigan and the important games they have coming up.

"He is happy there after an unhappy time at Newcastle and he is enjoying playing under Roberto Martinez.

"If Charles was to leave it would be with Wigan's agreement, because he has a contract there. If a club comes in it will be Wigan's decision and Charles wants to respect Wigan."
