More to come from Scotland

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez believes that 30-year-old striker Jason Scotland is yet to reach the prime of his career. After numerous substitute appearances, the former Swansea player made his first start for the Latics in their memorable 3-1 win against Chelsea last Saturday. The Trinidadian came to the British Isles in 2003, enjoying spells at Scottish clubs Dundee United and St Johnstone before being brought to the Swans two years ago. The powerful front-man impressed many during his spell at the Liberty Stadium and former Swansea boss Martinez was quick to acquire his services when he made the switch to Wigan. And now the Spanish manager says that Scotland will continue to improve despite his advancing years. "I believe Jason's best years are ahead of him. He is proof that age is not a problem if you look after your body," Martinez told The Sun. "Ryan Giggs is still a world-class performer at the age of 35. "Jason is 30 but football-wise he is very young. The hunger he has and desire to be successful lets him hide behind that age."
