Middlesbrough striker Mido has dropped a strong hint that he is set to join Wigan Athletic.
The 25-year-old frontman is reported to be considering an offer to join the Latics and has admitted the chance to play alongside fellow Egypt international Amr Zaki at club level would be an attractive proposition.
Mido has been expected to be on his way out of the Riverside Stadium this month after recently revealing his frustration at a lack of starting opportunities.
The nomadic striker has started just five Premier League games for Boro this season after struggling to force his way ahead of Tuncay, Jeremie Aliadiere and Afonso Alves in the pecking order.
"My exit from Middlesbrough is almost certain, I am 95 per cent sure of that," he claimed.
"I have got some offers, including one from Spain, but I am not yet decided where I'll go.
"I know there are talks with Wigan and I have to say I would be happy to play alongside Zaki."
