McCulloch to stay put

Wigan Athletic boss Paul Jewell has dismissed talk of a January exit from the club by versatile forward Lee McCulloch.
The 28-year-old Scotland international has been linked with a switch to Preston North End in the New Year, but Jewell says he has no intention of letting McCulloch move on.
He said: "There is no talk from our point of view, it's just put in the newspapers and there is no truth in it whatsoever.
"Lee is an important member of the squad. He's scored two goals in two games, but it's not just his goals, his work-rate is outstanding.
"People can talk as much as they like, but unless I decide he's leaving he won't be leaving."
McCulloch joined the Latics in March 2001 from Motherwell for £700,000 and has gone on to score 44 goals in just under 300 appearances for the club.
