Latics set to land Kapo

Olivier Kapo is reportedly on the verge of completing a £3.5million transfer from Birmingham City to Wigan Athletic where he will be reunited with his former manager Steve Bruce.
The 27-year-old former AS Monaco and Levante midfielder moved to St Andrew's last summer and made 26 appearances for the club as they were relegated from the Premier League.
Kapo was linked with a move to Marseille earlier in the summer but the player is believed to be having a medical at the JJB Stadium after the Latics agreed a transfer fee with City for the midfielder's services.
Earlier in the week Blues boss Alex McLeish confirmed he was willing to let Kapo leave the club after being angered by the player reporting back late for pre-season training.
McLeish had said: "Olivier's not gone yet and I know that his head's somewhere else, but while nothing happens he'll continue his duty with us.
"He'd like to move on, so I'm not going to stand in his way. The other players are in my plans and we'll go ahead, go forward with them. Kapo isn't in those plans so it's better he moves on."
