Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of midfielder Olivier Kapo from Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee.
Latics boss Steve Bruce has now signed Kapo twice in the last 12 months as he took the 27-year-old Frenchman to Birmingham when he was in charge at St Andrew's last summer.
The former Auxerre and Juventus midfielder has now put pen to paper on a three-year contract after passing a medical at the JJB Stadium.
Kapo, who made 27 appearances in Birmingham's last season but was unable to prevent them from being relegated from the Premier League, is believed to have cost the Latics around £3million.
"He's one I really wanted to get on board," revealed Bruce.
"Olivier's a real fighter, but he has a touch of quality about him.
"He can play in a number of positions and, having worked with him in the past, I know what a good addition to our squad he will be.
"He has Premier League experience, which is important, and I'm confident he will do well here."
