Latics recall Nouha Dicko

Nouha Dicko has been recalled early from his loan spell with Blackpool due to a lack of first team football.

The youthfull striker scored five goals in twenty-two appearances for the Seasiders but has found first team action hard to come by under new Blackpool boss Michael Appleton.

Dicko has found most of his first team action coming off the bench as an impact substitute, a role not significant enough to satisfy Latics manager Roberto Martinez.

"They've recalled him obviously because of his lack of first-team minutes, which we've got to respect," Blackpool manager Michael Appleton said.   It is unclear at the present time whether Dicko will be included into the first team fold at the DW Stadium amongst player ssuch as Callum McManaman, or whether he will be allowed out on loan again.
