Wigan Athletic's defensive duo Titus Bramble and Emmerson Boyce have committed their long-term futures to the club.
Both players will now remain with the Latics until the end of the 2011-12 campaign, to new boss Roberto Martinez's delight.
The former Swansea City manager told Wigan's official website: "When you look at the performances of the two players over recent seasons it's a great reward from the club to offer them contract extensions.
"They're real ambassadors for the club and great professionals who give you a good sense of continuity and competitiveness.
"They offer stability, set themselves high standards and are excellent examples to follow.
"Both are at a great moment in their careers and I think their best years are still to come, so we're very lucky to have players of that calibre."
Bramble has made 66 appearances for the club following his transfer from Newcastle United two years ago while former Luton Town and Crystal Palace defender Boyce has featured in 93 matches for the club.
